This issue is trivial i know..
anyway..
i had earlier the "verse per line" setting on, i tested to have it off, and noticed that there are differences in row spacing between verses.
I don't know if this is necessarily a bad thing. At least in my book version of the bible the line spacings are the same.
The lines that have a (superscript) verse number in it has 6px more distance to the above row than other lines.

It it is HTML we can do anything 
i guess that both the superscript text and the lines have a certain line-height and/or top-margin.
try fiddling with those
perhaps you could lessen the top-maring of the superscripted text.
I could perhaps check out the code. I have xcode and could perhaps do some good here and there
Fixed, thanks to Christoffer's javascript...
Hmmm, this would be because we're displaying the text using html. I wonder if we can tell it not to add that extra spacing?
