          Good start!
There ae some things that need to be done to get this to work properly:
          1) Non ISO-8859-1 characters need to be in UTF-8, but in the \u0xxxx format. This can be done by running it through the native2ascii filter (on mac this is in /usr/bin) (I have done this as I checked it in)

          2) The accelerators and mnemonics, while not appropriate for mac, should be changed to match a character in the text. It should be an appropriate character for the language and should not conflict with others. Typically, it is best to chose one that is similar to other applications.

          3) You don't need to have all the fields, only the ones that change from the default. (I have done this as I checked it in) Some, like icons and Enabled are important not to repeat. This allows for them to be changed in one place. If an icon should be internationalized, then that is a different story.

By the way, Troy will be creating a CD with all the Crosswire programs and modules. This will include BibleDesktop. Any changes that you want in for that release should be provided soon. I don't know how soon it will actually be.
