      Description

It's confusing having 2 sets of tabs one at the top and one at the bottom. The reason for the overflow is to protect the user that types "psa" into the "show passage" window, but nested tabs are probably a poor solution.

      Options:

      • A "get more" button that sucked more results into the same display (which Google have been trialling as an update to their search UI)
      • An infinite scroll-bar along the lines of Google Reader or MS Live Search.

The former method requires user interaction which the latter doesn't, however the latter really messes up the scrollbar interaction model because the size of the scrolled area changes as it is scrolled.
