Changing "Long names in module list" causes cross-references to quit working/UI freeze unless you click the Clear Cache button

If you switch the Interface, "Long names in module list" setting without clicking Clear Cache in the Modules tab (after you have changed the Long name setting), the cross-reference pop-ups quit working and cause the program to freeze for a time. It seems you need to clear the cache when this setting is toggled.
